Hey guys, sorry that it's been a long time since I submitted anything, but hey I am on vacation now I so that means fanart coming up!
This pic is actually a mix between the Disney film Hercules and the Greek Myth of Hercules, both which are very different, but after reading the story of Hercules, I came up with a lot of jokes when mixing it with the Disney version.
In the myth, yes Hercules did marry Megara, but to go back to the beginning, Hercules is not Hera's son, (in the film they made it that he was) when Hera found out that Hercules was her husband Zeus' son but with a mortal woman Hera was furious and that she made Hercules' life a living hell. When Hercules found happiness with Meg, Hera sent down some sort of curse that made Hercules go insane and murder Meg and their three children, tragic huh?
Now in the pic, in the Greek Myths Meg never crossed paths with Hades, (in the film she did and was working for him) so in the pic I mixed both together, that when you die, you go to the Underworld, so I thought of a joke of Meg meeting Hades again according to both the film and the myth, I hope that makes sense.
Oh and on drawing the three kids, I really had no thought on how Herc and Meg's kids would look like, so for their daughter I gave her Meg' eyes and a mix of Herc and Meg's hairstyle, for their son I just made him a little kid version of Herc, and for the baby I gave him/her Herc's eyes and I guess a mix of Herc and Meg's hairstyle also.

I WAS going to mention to you that Hercules eventually kills his wife, so I guess your couple is much more canon than anything else. XD

I love the son on the right going "Dad sucks!" :giggle: Well he couldn't help it-Hera was a bitch when it came to dealing with Zeus' bastard children from many illegitamate affairs.Oh yeah-and the baby looks super cute-and scared.

Damn Greek Mythology! Why did they have to ruin such a perfect, happy, Disney ending!!??

Oh well, a little funny, but I'm not laughing. I always hate how Greek myth is all about adultery and the wrath that follows. Did you know of Aphrodite's tale? She fell in love with this guy, who fell in love with a mortal girl. So she cursed the girl and made her horny for her father. In the end, she tricked her father into having sex with her, and when he found out, he tried to kill her. So she asked the Gods for help and she was turned into a tree.
